Important Things To Note

  • ✈️ Heads up, travelers! Starting in 2026, U.S. citizens will need a quick ETIAS authorization for trips under 90 days. Apply about a month before takeoff — set that reminder now before life (and Aperol spritzes) distracts you.

  • 🛂 Passport check! It must be valid for at least six months past your trip. If it’s flirting with expiration, renew it now and save yourself the airport panic.

  • 🌍 Global Entry = VIP line back into the U.S. Don’t have it? Download Mobile Passport Control before you head home — you’ll thank yourself when you’re breezing past the crowds.

  • 🛵 Italians drive like they’re in the Monaco Grand Prix — skip the scooter unless you’re auditioning for Fast & Furious: Sorrento Drift.

  • ⚡ Bring a converter! European outlets are a whole different species — without one, your hairdryer becomes modern art (and not in a good way).

  • 📞 Need help planning? Call travel guru Sarah Al-Molhem at 978-317-8816. She knows her way around Italy better than Google Maps. Website Here

  • ⛪ Visiting the Vatican? Cover those shoulders and knees! Fashion faux pas are forgiven everywhere but St. Peter’s.

  • 💶 Bring some euros! The hotel VAT tax often has to be paid in cash — and they don’t take Venmo.

  • 👠 Sorrento’s cobblestones are no joke. Trade your stilettos for cute flats — your ankles will thank you.

  • 💡 Dates in Italy read DD/MM/YEAR (yep, 10/07/2026 is July 10, not October 7), and prices are in euros — don’t let a decimal point surprise you.
